A thesis on aquaculture Syva receives Syva’s Award 2013

The research paper "Edwardsiella tarda: emerging pathogen in culture of turbot" presented by Dr. Nuria Castro Iglesias, from the University of Santiago de Compostela, has won the Syva Award XVI Edition for the Best Doctoral Thesis in Animal Health worth 15,000 euros. XVI jury's verdict of Syva Award for best doctoral thesis in Animal Health

The award is the result of an agreement between the University of León and SYVA Laboratories, and has a prize of 15,000 Euros. After the meeting of the Prize Court for SYVA’s Award 2013, it was decided that the winning thesis of this edition is the one presented by Nuria Castro Iglesias, entitled "Edwardsiella tarda: emerging pathogen in the culture of turbot." Syva presents MARBOSYVA (injectable marbofloxacin)

Laboratorios Syva increases its pharmaceutical product range with the launching of MARBOSYVA.

The product includes in its composition the active principle marbofloxacine at 10%, and it is available in the 100 and 250 ml presentations. MARBOSYVA is indicated in cattle for the treatment of respiratory processes caused by Histophilus somni, Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida and Mycoplasma bovis, and also for the treatment of acture mastitis caused by E. coli.
