Syva presents ACTIONIS to its sales network

The event took place the 31st of March at Technology Park of León, where Syva's manufacturing facilities are located.

Actionis is an injectable ceftiofur (hydrochloride), that contributes to increase Syva's product portfolio. Ceftiofur is a wide spectrum cephalosporin that resists the action of the beta-lactamase enzymes, and it is active against Gram negative and Gram positive bacteria. The product is indicated in swine and cattle.

The event started with a visiting tour to the two yeas ago inaugurated manufacturing plant for vaccines. Later on, in the technological park auditorium, Mr. Luis Bascuñán offered an open ceremony speech, which was followed by a technical presentation of both product manager of ruminants and swine, where the characteristics of ACTIONIS were highlighted. The marketing team did then explain the commercial strategies and launching campaign for this product.

ACTIONIS offers a superior capacity in terms of syringabilty. This is a remarkable competitive advantage in respect to other injectable ceftiofur available in the market. As a consequence ACTIONIS is more convenient, because it is administered faster, saving time and reducing stress in the treated animals. Another advantage is its reduced withdrawal period of 6 days in meat (pork and beef) and zero days in milk.

ACTIONIS has been registered through the Decentralized procedure in most of the European countries.

ACTIONIS is available in 100 and 250 ml vials.
