Pyrsvac-183 does demonstrate its efficacy in preventing PRRS in piglets

Once a PRRS outbreak does show up, PRRS vaccination is highly effective and profitable.

Recent studies reinforce the efficacy of vaccination of piglets to prevent PRRS. According to these studies, the average daily gain is significantly increased in animals that were vaccinated with Pyrsvac-183. At the same time the mortality rate in the fatting period is drastically reduced. BENZATARD from Laboratorios Syva indicated in swine

Laboratorios Syva makes available for the professionals of the swine industry the product BENZATARD, an association of a fast action Benzylpenicillin Procaine (150.000 UI/ml) and a long acting Benzylpenicillin Benzathine (150.000 UI/ml).

One single dose of BENZATARD is effective to achieve the therapeutic effect. The product is specially indicated for the treatment of streptococcus disease and swine erysipelas. Third edition of the Aragon Ovine Dialogues 2010

Over 90 veterinarians, specialists in ovine livestock, met in the city of Saragossa to share their experience and concerns.
